I've had a privilege to work with Eetu tackling corporate communication challenges of a multinational company. We been banging our heads together - in debates as well as for brainstorming sparks - for half a decade now, so I think I have pretty good idea what he is to work with. He is sharp-focused and result oriented chap, whose strong background in television and vast knowledge of media work is priceless advantage in complex projects and strategy building. No matter the task is, he always has ideas to test and enthusiasm that spreads. As a colleague Eetu is fair and just, even though work is often fast-paced and stressful. He has strong opinions but also a talent to listen and lead discussion to new tracks. You can easily trust projects in his leadership. So when and where ever you need a communication expert, he is your man. But on top of being a hard-boiled professional, he is also a good lad :)

The core value of solved is to build sustainability impact. The company has two tools to help its clients solve sustainability issues. It has a sustainability related market place with over 10 000 registered experts and a digital collaboration platform with hundreds of stakeholders using the platform. My job is to ensure we have an impact. This will enable our business’ growth, so in essence I’m also partly responsible for business design. The tools include communications, ecosystem building, direct sales, marketing, digital platform development as well as offering and business design. We have something no one else has. A strong sustainability expert ecosystem. It is our duty to strengthen the ecosystem in the Solved universe. The most important tool for this are the concrete projects done on the Solved platform and by the community members. To impact the world, make it a better and more sustainable home for all of us. Smart & Clean is a world leading community building impactful climate solutions for systemic challenges. www.smartclean.fi The tools that we have used: - Shared story: Smart & Clean impact has relied on a shared story. Solutions for 1.5°C world story is at our Community’s use. - Developing new concepts. One way to find new 1.5° solutions is to innovate new business and climate concepts and solutions and to support other actors to make these concepts reality. I have initiated two impact developments: Climate solution scaler and Testbed Finland. - Public Relation. Smart & Clean had three goals for the Finnish Government’s program in 2019. 15 items in the program directly support these goals. I was involved in writing our suggestions and creating the strategy to drive them. - Innovation processes: The most significant has been Hack the City, which I innovated and managed. It has led to 3 new climate business concepts being further developed by different parties. Trust as a Service, Travel time as quality time and solutions that combine last mile people travel and logistics. - Impact communications: The concept I developed uses a project as a tool in larger societal change. This means creating a discussion around the solutions or ideas developed in the project. The main idea is to make a single project more impactful than its concrete solutions. - Behaviour change: We have stirred behaviour change with two actions I was responsible for: Europe’s biggest tuber event Tubecon 2018 was made to Smart & Clean City and the Tubecon app directed the visitors to do 30 000 climate actions and tell their friends about it. Video challenge #munteko - #mydeed enticed youngsters to make over 100 videos of their climate actions and send them to us. - Change projects: The most important way to achieve impact are concrete actions. I have been the impact responsible for two projects Helsinki Air Quality Testbed and Bio100 projects. Show less
