I have been working as an optics/photonics specialist in display testing (mostly VR/AR), e.g. in the field of radio-/photo-/colorimetry and image quality. This includes R&D of implementation and calibration of optical metrology equipment.Evaluation of different optical architectures (camera lens, head mounted displays, illumination optics) is fundamental in my work. I have been learning optical design and simulation along my journey.

I carried out my military service in the former Niinisalo Cannon Brigade (now part of the Pori Brigade) . I was part of the Weather Division (Aviation Weather Division as well). My military education included theoretical and practical studies of clouds, weather conditions, measuring tools and instruments and other meteorological sciences. We measured the state of the weather at the surroundings of our weather station and reported it in SYNOP format (and after aviation weather measurements, METAR format).
