Initiatives supported include: - Co-Principal Investigator of a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant, the Climate Empowerment Learning Initiative (CELI), supporting Hayward teachers to engage in cross-disciplinary climate justice education. - Co-Facilitator of the Cradle to Career Education Reform Network with Hayward Unified School District and Chabot College to improve outcomes for South Hayward families. - Steering committee member, including California Promise Neighborhood Network, California Cradle to Career Coalition, ALL In Alameda County, and Northern California College Promise Coalition.
