  At NuBrakes, as Software Engineer II, I was the code owner of the company Marketing Site (nubrakes.com) and focused on performance and conversation rate optimizations. I led the effort to successfully transition the update of the company website (nextjs) to utilize a no-code CMS to allow marketing to take over AB Testing and minor website updates without engineering. Other notable achievements include increasing web performance scores from 38 to 88 (massive perceived performance boost) to improve conversion rates. Transitioned the support and sales department from Freshdesk to Zendesk and designed and implemented a promo code system to assist with driving more sales. NuBrakes is a tech-enabled mobile auto repair company that makes the auto repair experience more convenient and affordable for drivers everywhere. In the era of “instant-everything” -- where consumers and businesses expect goods and services to be readily available at one’s fingertips (and at more affordable prices) --, you shouldn’t have to waste an afternoon at an auto shop only to come away feeling ripped off.
