I have been working at the Bali Island School (formerly Bali International School) since 2012 and I have not looked back. Teaching internationally has been a wonderful experience and I am looking forward to my next challenge in this region.I am currently the head of the Language & Literature department at BIS, and teaching both MYP and IBDP courses; I also help the Individuals and Societies department when they re stretched too thin. I enjoy coaching competitive volleyball basketball, swimming, while also I overseeing the rock climbing club.

The Adaptive Sports Foundation located in the Eastern Townships of rural Quebec, focuses on getting physically disabled persons back into outdoor sports. I became a volunteer with their winter skiing program at Owl's Head, as well as a couple days visiting their summer waterskiing facilities. Through this wonderful organization, I met some of the most hard-working volunteers ever. Like a family, they work tirelessly to make sure their program runs smoothly and safely at all times. Check them out!

I began my High School teaching career at Lester B. Pearson High School in Montreal North. At the time it was a massive school with 1500 students and 90 teachers! For three years I taught everything from Geography to Religion, until I had the opportunity to teach a new career development program called the P.O.P. program. Based on student centered/inquiry based learning techniques, the POP program allows students to create their own "Career Explorations" which they eventually have to present to the class at the end of the term. For two years, I was running a computer lab with 32 brand new PC's and a locker full of interesting "career kits" (the dentistry one was our favorite!)In 2009 I was offered a tenured position at Laurier-MacDonald High School in St-Leonard, where I was brought in as an "Ethics and Religious Communities" teacher. An interesting title, no doubt, but upon my arrival, my course load was mostly English and History. During my three years at LMAC, I was fortunate enough to not only be a part of their English department, but to help coach their provincial level volleyball team and to help organize their annual ski trip.
