Signalling Specialist – MRTA Pink and Yellow Line Monorail Projects The Mass Rapid Transit Authority Pink and Yellow lines are elevated mass rapid transit monorail lines with 30 and 23 stations respectively. A new Communications Based Train Control (CBTC) signalling system will be installed to control the operation of trains. I have been responsible for the quality of design outputs across all disciplines within the Basic Design Team, tasks include undertaking quality and peer reviews of design work packages being outputted by the engineering team and implement corrective actions as required. Design packages have included circuit and wiring designs, Design Specifications and Reports. I am also responsible for ensuring that the technical and safety standards are maintained in all aspects of the design life cycle in order that successful project implementation and future reliability and performance is achieved. Project Engineer – Melbourne Rail Systems Alliance, High Capacity Signalling Project Project Engineer for the Bangkok Engineering team on the High Capacity Signalling Project which consists of the new Metro Tunnel Project which will integrate with existing lines to establish a new rail corridor. A new Communications Based Train Control (CBTC) signalling system will be installed to control the operation of most trains operating on the line, with a new interlocking to replace the legacy interlockings on the line to control the legacy signalling equipment on the line to provide conventional signalling for the conventional trains that will also use the line. My duties include responsibility for leading, managing and controlling engineering-related activities in the project to deliver on requirements, budget and schedule for the Bangkok Engineering Team.
