Responsible for day to day production support and enhancements for the mainframe CICS DB/2 application. The application handles three million plus active and inactive claims supporting thousands of claim adjusters around the country. Coordinated business requirements directly with users and translate those requirements into technical solutions. • Primary responsibility for the electronic filing of state workers compensation reports following industry standards for reporting. This covered adding new states to the electronic filing of claim information, changes based on new state requirements, and changes requested by the business unit. > Improved the quality of reports filed with the states of California, Texas, & Tennessee preventing fines for late or inaccurate filings. > Utilized sound, proven testing methodologies for the implementation of new states into the reporting process. Coordinated implementation with representatives from the various state government insurance bureaus.
