A year-long internship with Mercedes-AMG High Performance Powertrains was an amazing experience in which I was involved in working on current and future Formula 1 projects. Whilst I was there products that I worked on were fitted to the race cars and helped the team win six 6 Grand Prix. I was praised for my intuition and ability to be accountable for projects by my line manager. My internship was a great way for me to improve upon the skills I have learnt in my degree in a highly technical environment. In order to get the most from the internship I worked long hours and a very flexible schedule in order to ensure that I was learning from as many technicians and engineers as possible. Show less
