      Each fall semester taught two classes of English 1113 that focused on developing students’ abilities to write at the college level. For spring, instructed English 1213 that gave students advanced capabilities to write academically sound arguments. Skills involved included: lesson planning, curriculum development, lecturing, and grading. Also, taught course Ernest Hemingway and the Novel which primarily focused on closely examining and discussing three of Hemingway’s novels. While much of the course revolved around literary analysis, a significant portion also looked at Hemingway’s broader influence on film and pop culture.
