Columbia Hills Apartments - September 2018 - December 2018- Reference previous office engineer role for work preformed at Columbia Hills.Capper 769 N (Harlow DC) - January 2019 - February 2019- 179 unit market rate apartment in Navy Yard, Southeast DC.- Led unit turnover and successfully turned over 166 apartments in 6 weeks, including the following process: GC Punchout, Unit Owner Punch Walks, Unit Acceptance Walks and Exception List.Faraday Park - February 2019 - Present- 2 Building Project encompassing 407 apartments (West Building 262 and East Building 145) in Reston, Virginia.- West Building Consists of 3 Floor CIP Concrete Podium, with 4 floors of Wood Frame above, and Design Build 6 Level Precast Garage (5 Levels of Parking and 6th level is amenity area including Pool and Cabana Area) in addition to Design Build Sound Wall to minimize sound impact from Dulles Toll Road.- East Building Consists of 3 Floor CIP Concrete Podium, with 4 floors of Wood Frame above, and Design Build 4 Level Precast Garage. Garage is connected to existing precast garage. This entails underpinning at existing garage footers. - Led Submittal Process, day-to-day management, and conflict resolutions for multiple subcontractors.- Handle RFI's management for both buildings.- Led in-house 3D coordination process for project MEP Coordination allowing us to identify discrepancies on drawings prior to field rough in install, minimizing rework (Overhead Coordination Process) and structure compromising (Sleeve Coordination Process).- Work with Changer Orders for different subcontractor cost impacts as a result of ASI's, RFI responses, other misc. Drawing updates, etc.- Handled Material Tracking log in order to maintain checks and balance on submittal process and material releasing to avoid work delays.- Led Extensive VE Process for both buildings which encompassed multiple trades from finish spec changes to design related changes. Columbia Hills Project - August 2017 - December 2018- Project is a 229 unit Affordable housing Apartment Complex in Arlington, Virginia. - Led subcontractor work in the interior of the building. Led subcontractor coordination for insulation, drywall, paint, and punch-out of 229 Apartment units, and common areas.- Led Earthcraft Platinum Certification for the project including all submissions of proper paperwork, coordination of compliance and assuring successful completion of all test performed in apartment units (Duct leakage testing and blower door testing). - Successfully achieved Earthcraft Platinum Certification.- Handled MEP and Building inspection process assuring compliance and quality of work.- Managed Labor force at the project in daily tasks including housekeeping, safety, and other miscellaneous items around site.- Led turnover of apartments including assuring the quality of work to provide owner with quality products. - Handled Core + Shell inspections with county which would release common access areas for safe use of public. - Project won ULI Real Estate Trend Awards for Excellence in Affordable Housing in 2019. This sheet outlined what we had from them and what we needed to close the contract with them. - Monitored turnover of Mockup Unit of a 12 story building, taking unit from drywall and concrete floors to finished product. - Led turnover of first 2 floors in apartment building , also leaving third and fourth floor ahead of schedule. - Attended GC-Subcontractor Weekly meetings, GC-Owner meetings (in-house developer), Draw meetings where we had to present progress to bank and owners. - Spent two days working with the pre-construction department, helping them while they received bids from subcontractors for three different future projects.
