I worked for my local municipality in an array of tasks, mainly consisting of gardening, cleaning and maintenance of the public areas, in Sandweiler, Luxembourg.By the end of my 2-week professional experience, I managed to clean up several streets and gardens, repainted many fences, and contributed to the complete and thorough cleaning of the local cemetery. My work consisted mainly of administrative tasks. I got a very good understanding of the overall organisation and functions of the Embassy: what its challenges are, how it serves the community of Greek citizens and how it interacts with other national and foreign organisations. My biggest achievement was manually classifying, in alphabetical order, the files of 500+ Greek residents registered in the Embassy.
