Coastal Jazz and Blues ranks as BC’s largest not-for-profit music presenter producing the annual Vancouver International Jazz Festival. This 10-day festival is a feast for music lovers, presenting incredible world-class music in venues all across the city. As Operations Director for the Jazz Festival, I work with a great team overseeing site, production, mapping, permitting, contract staffing, artist hospitality, safety and emergency management, bar management, warehousing, and brand activations. Our 2 signature outdoor sites at David Lam Park and the Vancouver Art Gallery are Vancouver favourites. Check us out at: http://coastaljazz.ca

Vancouver Pride Society produces inclusive, celebratory events, and advocacy for LGBTQAI2S+ communities through an intersectional lens. My team has produced the four-day closure and activation of the Davie Village Promenade in 2019, and helped create some 40 virtual events for Pride's 2020 festival season. Symphonic Pride, a first-time collaboration between Vancouver Pride and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, was chosen to represent the BC Government at the 2020 Frankfurt Book Fair. This unique project focussed on QTBIPOC (Queer, Trans Black, Indigenous, People of Colour) musicians and performers accompanied by the VSO. 2021 saw us safely hosting audiences in licensed outdoor plaza lounges once again, and 2022 was yet another great festival! https://www.vancouverpride.ca/

The Writers Fest is a gem of a literary festival. As Production Manager, I coordinate all technical / audio-visual aspects pertaining to this dynamic one-week event held annually on Granville Island. One hundred authors from around the world appear in 80+ events to capacity audiences in up to 8 venues. Compelling and thought-provoking are an understatement.... http://writersfest.bc.ca/ The Writers Fest is a gem of a literary festival.
