At this time, Santander established Chile as the regional office responsible for the Southern Cone of South America supervising the banks in Peru, Uruguay and Chile. This function was responsible for the strategic development of the brand and external/internal communications in those countries.- Participated in the acquisition and merger of the banks in Peru. - Launched the Santander brand in Peru.- Launched three new companies in Uruguay: Santander AFAP, Mutual Funds and Plata Card.- Managed the communication and implementation of a single brand – Santander – after the merger and acquisition of Banco Osorno (1996).- Developed the project of a model branch for Chile applicable to the other countries.
