Main AchievementsThe port terminal build was suffering due a slowness on network, which was decreasing the terminal operation performance, causing deadlines lost and countless customers complains. After adopted a simple solution, was possible to solve the network problem and to increase the terminal wireless coverage, this solution helped to extirpate the out of range areas in the administrative building. In addition, we reduced internal users' unauthorized web access by 99%, increasing the network connection quality and improving internal users’ productivity through effective control and requests tracking.Responsibilities: • System and project analysis for Terminal Operation Software, functional requirements, use cases, activity diagrams.• Technical Support for Financials, Accounting, Human Resources and WMS modules of ERP Protheus (TOTVS).• Software development using PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS. • Diagnosis of desktop, application, networking and infrastructure issues.• Working closely with software suppliers to resolve operational issues.• Windows server administrator, knowing the services of active directory file server, print server and network (DNS, DHCP, etc).• Technical Support CCTV with 120+ IP cams.

Main AchievementsPortonave used a mixed and decentralized system of communication, which made use of cell phones, oral communication and independent radios.Operational communication tactics would interfere directly with operational results (given sensitivity to lack of synchronization of the information flow) and operator safety. It was slow communication, costly and inefficient maintenance. The company needed a modern, agile and convergent solution that would help improve internal productivity. We designed and maintained an analog Radio Communication Network through partnerships with companies of such industry that supplied the demand for reliable communication. This project was pointed out as a success case on Motorola's smartPTT Premium Partner website. As result, it was possible to help the company to beat the South American record of container movement per hour.South American Record Linkhttps://goo.gl/w1siF6Success case Motorola Premium Partnerhttps://goo.gl/Vh0GQiOthers Achievements: Portonave Operational sector should send instructions about the load of containers to equipment operators using the local network, which is made by sending instructions from computers on ship planners and yard planners’ desks to mobile computers that are installed on cranes, terminal tractors and hand equipment around the terminal depot. They are all connected to local network by WI-FI.Due a big amount of containers around the terminal, we had a problem with Wi-Fi signal coverage and constantly wasn`t possible to connect those equipment to network. We designed and made changes on wireless network used by operation sector, as result we had an increased network coverage and ended up with areas without WI-FI coverage, in addiction we decreased manual registers of cargo movements in terminal by 90%, increasing the efficiency of the operation, providing improvement in the process of control, and tracking of the containers.
