I would venture to say that Eduard (Ephraim) is the finest cobbler on the face of the planet. I have been taking all of my designer shoes to him since 2008 for various repairs and pre-repairs (sole protectors, heel additions, tips, etc) and have never once been disappointed. He practices extreme diligence to ensure the leather of your shoe remains pristine and the protector snugly hugs the sole as if it came that way; this is a true skill of which very few shoe repairs can claim mastery. He carries a bevy of sole protectors from black to nude to red (yes, for your Louboutins) in various weights so the appropriate item is always used; this is yet another sign of craftsman who knows and cares about his trade. Since moving to Seattle almost 2 years ago, I have been to 5 different shoe repairs and no one measures up. To this day, I still save up all my shoes to mail to him in bulk or drop off en masse when I visit Manhattan. He is simply THE BEST! The work of cobblers is a lost art and he's still got it!
