• I started my apprenticeship as a Mechanical Draftsman with BMCH in January 1986 and finished the Mech Eng Certificate and my apprenticeship in December 1989. • BMCH specialised in the design & construction of coal processing plants, which encompassed conveying systems, crushing & screening of raw material, pumps & piping systems, water treatment, stacking & reclaiming systems, screening & filtering and dense medium systems. • During my time with BMCH I was fortunate to work on many projects in a number of capacities. I gained experience in mechanical design & detail, structural design & detail, ordering, estimating, site supervision & commissioning.
