      MAVA (Musée de l'Art de la Vie Active) is a non-profit organisation set up by visual artist Meschac Gaba in Cotonou, Benin. MAVA has three points of focus: an art library (open to the public the whole year through); monthly lectures by Beninese artists; once a year an international thematic residency. The Lizzard Lounge (with double z) is an initiative of Admire Kamudzengere, initiated in 2013. In April 2014, he concluded his residency period with this Lizzard Lounge with performances of Nathan Azhderian, Tanja Ritterbex, Lev Kazachenko, Ida Katinka Fridan Pederson and Toby Paul.
