  As a Peer Advisor, I mentored first-year students at the University of Utah through the LEAP program, which offers classes, seminars, and personal mentorship to U of U students to increase retention and graduation rates and welcome new students into the university experience. I worked one-on-one with Dr. Josh Rivkin to guide students in the Arts LEAP class through personal and academic challenges.   As a member of the Executive Team for March for our Lives Utah, I coordinated with a group of high school students motivated to create political change. We organized rallies and held a press conference to present the findings of the legislator ranking system we developed. I recorded data on the voting habits of legislators in a Google Sheet, factchecked our findings, and helped analyze the statistics to most accurately display the results. I also worked on transcribing legislative sessions, researching guns and gun violence, and recruiting members. Show less
