  • Give safety induction to all personnel arriving on job location and conduct thoroughSafety briefing H2S hazards, conveying and assuring awareness of all personnel on the H2S contingency plan on the rig.• Ensures safety on the job location:Proper wearing of PPE such as mask, protective eyewear or hardhats are being used according to regulations.Test and identify work areas for potential accident and health hazard, such as toxic vapors, mold, mildew, and explosives gas-air mixture and help implement appropriate control measures. Ensure that all personnel be made aware of breathing apparatus location and the correct method of use.• Ensure that all Breathing Apparatus are inspected and working properly, reports are to be kept on file and copy must send to Rig Manager.• Prepare and submits all reports on or before due date.• Diagnose faults and recommend accurate and effective repair solutions on H2S Safety Equipment.• Monitor and perform/conduct required testing and calibration (Gas Monitoring and Gas Detection System) as per schedule.• Monitor and maintain breathing apparatus to ensure it is always clean and in good working condition (in workshop and in work site).• Training Rig Personnel in donning and wearing of SCBA Equipment and all safety precautions, contingency planning in the presence of Hydrogen Sulfide and other Toxic Gases.• Ensure compliance of contractors Established Safety Procedures and Policies.• Rig-up and rig down of H2S and safety equipment.• Maintain and calibrate all safety and H2S equipment.• Conduct H2S training and drills, Search and Rescue and SCBA training as scheduled.• Assist Supervisor on molding and training of new technician.• Check and maintain any electrical concern on the shop.
