  During my presidency of the Union of Youth Public Organisations "Apskritas stalas" (hereinafter - JonAS), I have strengthened my competences in the areas of project writing and management, team building and maintaining a good microclimate, communicating with the municipality and other institutions, and managing the organisation's finances. It is also important to mention that before I became President of JonAS, the organisation was in a very poor situation, having been inactive for several years and in debt. Halfway through my term of office, I have achieved results such as the partial repayment of the organisation's debts, the re-establishment of the organisation's links and visibility, the creation of a strong team, and the implementation of projects such as JonAS'23; Youth in the Wake; and Youth in Bloom, which are focused on working with young people, strengthening youth organisations, improving volunteers' skills, and representing young people at regional and national level. I can say that in one year I was able to work with my team to re-establish the most influential organisation in our city and to strengthen my skills in a number of important areas. Show less
