Eden did an excellent job as research assistant at CSAMES. After we discussed the needs of the Center regarding an online resource for Yemen as well as a public engagement activity focused on Yemen, she independently tackled tasks associated with designing and publishing the website, and helped plan and instruct at the event. She went the extra mile to get materials for the event and publicized it among her peers. I was impressed by her motivation and work ethic as she completed all the website research and design on time. She took initiative in the site design and adapted to the changes that arose. She has excellent communication skills, and I felt comfortable to ask her to communicate with our community partner when I wasn't able to readily respond. She thinks critically about tasks and about the big picture, goals and outcome. She has the talent, energy and ability that I'd like to see in all Illinois graduates. I only wish we had known about her and hired her sooner! I highly recommend her.
