  In my current role as a Credit Control Team Leader at Southern Health and Social Care Trust (SHSCT), I am responsible for an array of duties some of which include the following; recouping monies owed to the SHSCT and decreasing bad debt thought various channels such as the small claims court, and through our in house directorate of legal services, setting up repayment plans, meeting clients, representatives and other stakeholders who have a vested interest in the debt department, presenting report and financial claims to senior management within the SHSCT, processing invoices and credit notes and all other forms of administration to ensure the smooth running of day to day activities with the department. As team leader I have monthly targets/KPI’s to achieve as set down by the financial executive, it is my responsibility to ensure that these targets are achieved within a certain timeframe.
