Having worked directly for Eddy in PSN in Aberdeen I can honestly say he is a first class Principle and Lead engineer. He leads a team of engineers providing clear direction and good support in all aspects of the work that I did for him. I can do nothing except recommend him as a hard working leader and an excellent colleague who has technical experience second to none.

The North West Seymour FEED and Detail design was originally based on a gas reservoir. However after drilling the well in January 05 ‘Black Oil’ was discovered. This lead to a redesign of the facilities which introduced the following amendments;• Gas Lift facilities including Riser valves/Isolation Valves and Blowdown Valves• Pressure Control valves• Wax inhibitor Package• Scale Inhibitor Package• Multiphase (FRAMO) Flow meterThe original design and procured equipment were critically reviewed for re-use on the new designed facilities. This had knock-on effects to the following areas:• Fire and gas modifications/enhancements• ESD/PCS Modifications• Flow-metering Interfaces• RE-HAZOP and SIL assessments• Top Ups on procured Instrument Hook-up Materials• Modifications to all Detail design Drawings, Documents, Vendor workscopes and Functional Design requirementsAll long Lead Instrumentation was procured and installed (where possible) in the Armada planned Shutdown July ’05.
