Projects worth mentioning: - Redesigned internal REST API and UI automated Python test frameworks using Pytest-BDD, Python test logic, and Selenium in replacement of Behave BDD and Cypress.io Results: API automated test suite execution time reduced form 7 minutes to 1 minute 30 seconds. UI automated test suite execution time reduced from 30 minutes to 12 minutes. Up to six parallel test runners. - Implemented Pytest-BDD in the Jenkins CI/CD pipeline. Results: Product release cadence promoted from bi-weekly release to weekly release. Increased logging, visibility and event traceability with logging tools like Datadog, and custom Python logic for customer-specific use cases. - Spearheaded better data quality in the ETL pipeline with open source tools like great_expectations Results: Published an RFC about data quality for ETL, and implemented a data quality check in with raw customer data in the 'E' step of the ETL pipeline. Remarkably fast data-quality analysis with the capability to provide visibility into customized data quality checks i.e. null values, empty strings, single characters, etc. Execution times for large datasets with 15M+ rows under 15 minutes.
