Developed Web Front Office for the Metro and International sales force and brokerage services that eliminated the need for EDI and had a significant impact on order processing time. Set up delivery tracking system via EDI and homegrown applications to measure carrier delivery performance and assured billing accuracy. This project generated $400,000 dollar savings from incorrect billings and a substantial savings from customer deductions due to late fees. Developed Carrier Bid System that increased lane analysis from 800 points to over 9,600 resulting in a $1.5 million dollar freight savings and integrated this into ORACLE. Assisted with implementing a pallet-recycling program (CHEP), which reduced packaging cost by $500,000 annually. Implemented a Trade Spend Management Package to reduce and control trade spend. Spend reduced from a record of 17% of sales to a constant 11% of sales.
