Working alongside Ed I found his passion for design to be refreshing. He always strives to answer a brief in the most creative ways possible and by doing so he inspires the people around him to be the best they can be too. Anyone lucky enough to work with Ed will find themselves in good company.

The way I would describe Ed is that he is a one-of-a-kind creative piñata. A unicorn piñata – a special creative full of conceptual goodies*. His title and main role may be a Digital Designer at IMA (of which he is a bloody brilliant one) but my favourite thing to do with Ed was work on conceptual briefs because his brain is literally full of the best stuff and his ideas are so fresh and exciting. And I mean ideas that even a veteran thinker wouldn't consider. So every time I had a conceptual brief come across my desk I always tried to get Ed involved, even if it was just for a kick-off brainstorm or an initial hour chat, because I knew any little touch he had on the job would mean a big difference to the quality of the final output. I love working with Ed. He gives me the adrenalin and buzz that has me addicted to this job and industry – and it's far and few between I get that feeling anymore and to have it every time I work with him is magic. So thank YOU Ed for being such a brilliant creative. It's a joy to work with you. *NB. Ed would give up the creative goodies through a brief or an opportunity and not a violent bashing.
