      Aspire (Community Links) employs the Employment specialist as part of their EIP (Early Intervention in Psychosis) service. Working in a team led approach the Employment Specialist is embedded into the service as part of the social recovery team Pre referral meetings are offered with clients and their Care Coordinator to help both make informed decisions about proceeding with support into employment. This process helps all parties to make the decision whether to refer into the service. For clients that do engage a personalised service is given with direct and practical support given. A creative and flexible approach has helped them feel that they are listened to and that there is a clear set of steps to achieving their goals. Feedbacks from clients have said that they felt the worker ‘listened to them’ and that their worker ‘was really approachable and could say what was on my mind' Pre-employment workshops are available for all clients to participate in to help increase knowledge and skills for finding work. A weekly job club is held that offers support from Employment specialists and workshops available are; • Stress Management • Interview Skills/Preparation Workshop • Job Search Skills • Maintaining Wellbeing • Confidence for Work It has been demonstrated by embedding the specialist employment worker within the Aspire EIP service that a team based approach has helped clients gain employment, facilitate recovery and promote employment as part of the client’s care plan
