I acted as Client-side Project Manager with Ed Patey on a substantial laboratory redevelopment for a global pharmaceutical company. The development was phased in 2 parts. Phase 1 initiated the relocation of an existing team of employees to a new, long-term but temporary location. Phase 2 involved the stripping out of former office space and the construction of state of the art laboratory facilities but within an occupied building. Ed facilitated all aspects of the above development and organised the logistics with the phase 1, relocation. This was achieved without any interruptions to the company’s ongoing business operations. Both him and his team assisted the Client in a very professional and considerate manner. Phase 2 had to be undertaken sensitively due to existing occupants within the building. This was managed extremely well by Ed and enabled business to carry on as usual with no interruptions. As with any project of this nature, the unexpected occurred at undetermined times but Ed assisted the Client in a positive way to resolve these issues in a professional and timely manner. The project was completed on time and within budget. Working with Ed is very much recommended.
