Quality Assurance Program Manager (HSC-3)

Led a team of 16 responsible for qualifying sailors to maintain and inspect 34 MH-60S aircraft.Audited the squadron’s implementation of 43 programs to assess their compliance with Navy maintenance directives.Performed final quality checks of every aircraft returning from a long-term maintenance inspection.Actively mentored eight Quality Assurance Officers in deployed squadrons.Accountable for interviewing all aircraft maintenance crew seeking the ability to sign off work orders to evaluate their technical expertise and knowledge of regulations.Effectively trained 100 prospective maintenance check-flight pilots on the procedures that verify that aircraft systems function within tolerances.

Safety and Training Program Manager (HSC-3)

Responsible for maintaining the Naval Aviation Training and Operating Procedures (NATOPS) and Crew Resource Management (CRM) standardization for 300 pilots and aircrewmen.Qualified 12 assistant instructors to provide high-quality, uniform annual standardization flights.Prepared documentation for over 800 annual proficiency flights required to be signed by the commanding officer.

Operations Planning Manager (HSC-3)

Supervised a team of seven tasked with planning the qualification of 180 pilots and aircrewmen in the MH-60S, scheduling thousands of flight, simulator, and classroom exercises, resulting in the graduation of over 170 combat-ready aircrew.Responsible for daily coordination with maintenance and operations personnel to prioritize flights, ensuring maximum efficiency given weather, airspace reservations, and aircraft availability constraints.Identified inefficiencies in the instructor pilot training process and developed a new process that cut qualification timeline in half without sacrificing quality. Developed and oversaw the beta test for the project.

Operations Program Manager (HSC-4)

Planned and executed 992 successful flights spanning 2,696 hours across eight MH-60S aircraft. Managed the qualifications of 63 pilots and aircrewmen during two deployments.Coordinated mission sets and training requirements in support of strike group commander assignment. Effective time-management led to a significant increase in year-over-year mission qualifications.Liaised with 40 discrete helicopter detachments in support of a 26-nation maritime exercise to coordinate logistics support, medical evacuations, and allied training objectives.

Managed the administration, compensation management and performance evaluations for 261 sailors during a six-month deployment. Earned a Navy-Marine Corps Achievement Medal for filling the gapped senior officer role.Planned, allocated, and managed a budget of $630,000 to support squadron operations in six countries.

Revamped the flight scheduling process, resulting in superior clarity for the varied configuration demands of four detachments while supporting 694 sorties, 2059.9 flight hours, 266 training events, and 33 qualification upgrades.Mentored junior pilots through the copilot qualification process by holding study groups designed to improve board readiness.Qualified out of his primary duties as a Helicopter Control Officer and Helicopter Engagement/Turn Officer, showing exceptional initiative to support the squadron's success.
