  • Architected and built private cloud leveraging Citrix XenServer and XenDesktop to virtualize server and desktop resources. • Designed and built a centrally-managed, roaming 802.11n wireless network covering entire campus. • Created backup/disaster recovery plan with off-site colocation, data replication, and failover. • Responsible for network security: designed network security plan, performed advanced firewall/UTM configuration, managed client security/anti-malware services • Achieved annual PCI compliance. • Implemented live unicast/multicast video streaming of student-produced broadcasts over LAN. • Developed Access relational-database application to manage library acquisitions and fund-raising. • Was instrumental in Lamplighter's becoming one of the first schools in the country to deploy an automated dismissal system integrating tolltag/license-plate recognition with database-driven Web interface for dismissal of students from classrooms for pickup by parents. • Expanded and upgraded LAN (copper and fiber) comprising multiple VLANs and subnets, VPN. • Managed Windows 2008 domain, Mac OS X Server and Open Directory • Led committee to develop standards and instructional materials for faculty technology competencies. • Designed and implemented SharePoint 2010 intranet site.
