I’ve gotten to know Ebony through our community engagement activities in Indianapolis. We met in 2017 when Ebony was at the Indianapolis Recorder and reached out to feature me in the Work Style Section of the Indiana Minority Business Magazine (IMBM). During that engagement, I was impressed with Ebony’s drive, passion, leadership, and especially her authenticity. I have followed Ebony’s career as she continues to find and/or make opportunities to lift her voice on behalf of the community. For example, Ebony was selected to host her own show on RadioOne where she focuses on the issues and concerns of the local African-American community. Then too, she used her platform to elevate so many folks like me when she had me on her show to support my passions and advocacy around diversity and equity in STEM and law. Most recently, Ebony took on a leadership role at Leadership Indianapolis, a community organization that I regularly support. There too, Ebony continues to utilize her platform to advance diversity and equity in our community leaders. Her authenticity is refreshing and her voice will be one to lead our community for years to come.

Ebony is a passionate, driven, confident professional working to change the world for all humans. She does this via all types of communication, i.e., social media, radio, in-person interviews, and writing. Ebony has natural leadership skills and continues her to pour into herself through her appetite for learning. She strives to achieve her goals and make a difference for women and minorities. It is exciting to watch as she navigates her professional success.
