      In the second year of my HND myself and another student created the events company Out of the Box Events. We organised an event called "Blast from the Past" which focused on all things that would have been prominent in the childhood of the 18-24 age group. Key elements included;- Pick and mix bags as party favours- Themed shots with names such as "Oops I did it again", "Saved by the Sambuca" and "Don't stop moving" .- Party games such as, "Pin the Wig on the Britney", Twister and a short quiz.- 90s/Noughties themed musicMarket research conducted on the night found that 91% of attendees would attend another event organised by Out of the Box Events. As event manager my roles included;- Communication between venue and staff I.e. setting up meetings and setting guidelines for what is expected on the night- Reviewing progress consistently throughout the planning process to ensure the team was on track- Design of all tickets and promotional materials- Updating social media accounts a few times a week to encourage target group interaction- Budget management- Sourcing resources- Ensuring health and safety requirements were met- Processing event feedback information- Composing an event manual
