Digital Project Manager: I was a project manager in the project management office (PMO) tasked with bringing in projects with a digital media focus. Projects included: - Website redevelopment (www.ravensbourne.ac.uk) - BBC Motion Graphics Archive - The archive recently won the international FOCAL Award for the innovative platform I designed and implemented for it. - Various AWS and Azure cloud projects - MA in Craft Editing - the university’s first fully online post graduate degree. This project then fed into a wider move of courses towards blended - and online learning. Our work with AWS on the BBC project also meant closer contact with Amazon Education Services which lead to ongoing course development collaborations. I also managed several projects in the Quality department, including: - Redeveloping their intranet site, - Transition from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 - Moving an extensive Quality archive to OneDrive. - Redeveloping the department's policies and procedures. I also got involved in quality, regulatory and compliance work which expanded my existing experience with quality assurance, GDPR and copyright, but in the context of Higher Education. Website, Intranet and Extranet Manager: Before being promoted to the project management team I managed the university’s main website and intranet/extranet, social media channels, and online reputational management. I was solely responsible for the management of the website which involved technical management, producing text content and video administration and I worked closely with my colleagues in the marketing team on campaigns and events. I managed budgeting, payments administration and annual budget projections. Projects included: - Digital components of a major rebranding programme - Part redevelopment of the website - Redevelopment of the university's video archive and YouTube channel - Redevelopment of the Intranet system (Atlassian's Confluence) and preparation for the move to SharePoint

Digital Coordinator

As digital coordinator my primary role was to manage all technical aspects of the RCPath website and to develop the website further, particularly the online services provided to college members and the general public. My achievements include project managing the redevelopment of the college website. This project included integrating the website with the main college database (Integra) and bringing a host of new services online, updating navigation and re-evaluating and redeploying content. In addition the staff were given change access to the website. To facilitate this I set up a CMS manual and online wiki and ran staff training for the CMS and HTML. I followed this up with hand-holding support. I also implemented various help desk solutions and extended the website and IT knowledge base on the college's Sharepoint-based intranet.

IT Officer

At TLMI I was responsible for managing the coordination of IT services both at TLMI head office and at international offices and field projects lacking local IT support. I was also responsible for the publication of information and news articles on the intranet and extranet. My achievements include successfully project managing the replacement of the main servers and network infrastructure for the TLMI head office. I built and populated the server rack, replaced the hubs and firewall, laid down new network cabling and implemented other new hardware and software systems such as a new data backup solution. At TLMI I learned a great deal about IT support in remote locations

I was the IT manager for the Community Safety Department, on assistant director level. At the time the department did not have its own IT support so my first project was to establish all structures and services needed to run an IT department. Further projects include replacing the email servers, setting up a help desk and intranet. Furthermore I represented the department at the central IT steering committee and represented the government at Microsoft's events and conferences. My work at Faizel & Associates presented me with the opportunity to work on government tenders from the private sector perspective. In the short time I was with Faizel and Associates I produced a number of tender responses for the Health Department’s Health Information System programme. Despite a high number of tender respondents we won one of the tenders. The tender involved hardware auditing and I project managed this on behalf of F&A. My work at Faizel & Associates presented me with the opportunity to work on government tenders from the private sector perspective. Senior IT technician - hardware administration and implementations

I was a senior IT technician on assistant director level. I was in charge of hardware administration, involving procurement, roll-out and support as well as running auditing processes for around 450 desktops, 30 laptops and 55 printers. I also did general IT support. Achievements included running a project to replace around 300 desktops and 16 printers and accomplished successful audits of said hardware and network equipment with the external auditors, KPMG. I was a senior IT technician on assistant director level. However, I also achieved to put in place administrative procedures and policies and ran the administration for the development department management structure. This was my first IT-related role and during my time with GPG IT I honed my IT skills and started doing IT support work in addition to PA work. Motor journalist

I was a motor journalist at Motorcomm, conducting interviews, writing, proofreading and editing copy. I gained solid copy writing and proofreading experience. I also engaged in various marketing campaigns to boost subscription uptake and to promote the national race days. Achievements I acquired good all round publishing and journalistic experience working for Motorcomm. I never missed a copy submission deadline and had high success rate in selling advertising space in the various publications. I set in place a deal for the supply of computer equipment in exchange for advertorials with a local IT equipment reseller, therefore bringing the cost of IT equipment acquisition down dramatically.

I was an estate agent and the official branch photographer. My main achievement was that my area partner and I obtained the highest market share in our area and managed to sell the most properties in the branch for 5 months consecutively.
