Major accomplishments include a complete Google migration (4,000+ accounts), 1:1 Chromebook design and implementation during a pandemic (2,500 devices), rebuilding the Transportation Department and streamlining processes and procedures around daily operations, routing and field trips and transport management in general (20+ bus routes, 1,500 students), implementing a mass-communication solution to reach granular populations within seconds, deploying a campus-wide MARCS radio system for daily and emergency use capable of inter-agency connection, rebuilding the district website from scratch, providing technical data management expertise, and a few other things. At Kenston, I inspired and led development and implementation of a shared vision for comprehensive integration of technology to promote excellence, student achievement, and professional growth, and supported transformation throughout the organization. I was responsible for training, modeling, and assisting teachers in integrating technology in the classroom to improve student achievement. I took a leadership role in developing and implementing the district’s plan for instructional use of computers and updated the plans accordingly as related to district budget constraints, new technologies, and available resources. I worked effectively with administrators, teachers, and others to help implement the district technology plan, and coordinated dissemination of technology related information throughout the district via newsletters, a dedicated website, group message boards and through multiple professional development presentations and training sessions at building and district level meetings and events. I was the person primarily responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating district technology oriented in-service programs offered through the school year - before, during, and after school. I designed and implemented systematic programs to advance all teaching staff in technology skill, including a Kenston Digital Academy, Google Level 1 Certification courses, and workshops on a number of other topics including iPad training, website development, etc. I helped design and establish an environment encouraging creative and independent use of instructional technology among teachers and staff.
