Emma came to our studio with a skillset mostly developed through her work on mobile games, without much experience working on projects at our scale. Almost immediately after arriving at our studio, she was unexpectedly thrown into the role of the primary producer of day to day scheduling for the bulk of our team. She adapted quickly to the situation, and she was able to rise to meet the needs of her scheduling and individual developer management responsibilities with little help. Her instincts proved to be her strongest asset, and she was able to take complex problems and meeting takeaways and break them down into understandable and sensible priorities. Our common outlook regarding the importance of communication among the team led me to feel comfortable talking to her about production issues and I often found myself trying to make suggestions for production process improvements through her. She always demonstrated a solid understanding of where my suggestions were coming from and even if they weren't directly incorporated, she held onto the core ideas and tried to find ways to meet all developers needs. Emma is a strong and detail oriented producer who I was glad to work with at Ghost Story Games.

While working with Emma at Ghost Story Games, she showed a strong drive based on a true love for games and their design. Emma is also eager to learn and committed to her craft. I am excited to see what she does next.

For the 2014 festival season I planned and executed all marketing and media efforts for the 3rd annual Boston Festival of Indie Games. With a team of motivated volunteers working for me I managed the design of all print components, radio and graphic ads, social media assets and campaign plans, and other event marketing needs. I also worked with an art director and a web producer to overhaul and redesign the festival website http://www.bostonfig.com in advance of the 2014 event. Leading up to the day of the event I assisted the sales team in managing sponsor assets and highlighting festival partners through various media platforms. After the event I used social media and other outreach methods to promote the festival via positive reactions from attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors. Show less
