PowerLight utilizes optical power beaming technology to convert kilowatts of electricity into high-intensity light, which is then shaped, directed, and transmitted to a specialized receiver that converts it back into usable power. This innovative approach enables safe and efficient power transfer over long distances, day and night, in diverse environments, maximizing output and minimizing losses. My project with PowerLight as an intern was to build an knowledge graph schema to organize the company's engineering onboarding documents. Our work involved applying graph database technology, natural language processing (NLP) and Visual design tools to achieve an efficient user friendly interface.
