Build rapport and relationships by interacting with physicians, veterinarians, and other professionals demonstrating awareness of their needs and responding with appropriate pharmaceutical products. Leverage product knowledge, presentation skills, and client relationships to expand client base by providing clinical support to the sales team in order to utilize feedback to help meet the needs of clients. Provide a medical information service for patient inquiries, run prescriptions through insurance, trouble shoot prescription orders, and assess/dispense prescriptions for accuracy and validity. Providing line management to pharmacy technician staff, responding to customer needs by investigating concerns and developing timely patient-centric solutions. Manage extensive inventory, returning overstock goods to the wholesaler to control cost. Match return notifications to credits and following-up on credits not yet been received. Maintain safety, regulatory, and compliance standards as they relate to the development of compounded pharmaceuticals; review current USP and FDA guidelines as well as liaising with the Professional Compounding Centers of America for advice.
