Accomplishments included, as Crew Member, maintained proper working order of M777A2 Howitzer Cannon. Checked muzzle break and spades for any cracks, damage or imperfections. Maintained Cannon air brake system by verifying working order, trouble shooting and identifying malfunctions and assisting with repairs. Disassembled and reassembled breach and inspected and maintained lands and grooves of barrel. As Gunner, ensured Cannon was laid on correct azimuth of fire in order to ensure effective and well placed rounds were fired down range, also after every round ensuring Cannon was back on correct azimuth, given electronically in the CSD within specified perimeters to maintain safety and accuracy of rounds. Responsible for preventive maintenance inspection (PMI) and upkeep of LMTV all-terrain, MATV and Humvee military vehicles. Those duties included daily checks of oil, fuel levels and transmission fluid levels. Inspected and maintained hydraulic brakes and brake lines to ensure no unsafe exposures, breaks or faulty equipment. Successfully trained and supervised crew members as needed. Quickly promoted in rank and responsibility. Proven ability to communicate with military individuals of all levels. Show less
