  Crime Survivor for Safety and Justice is a flagship organization of the Alliance for Safety and Justice. Lead as the “face” of CSSJ in the state, manage offline member recruitment and maintenance, develops relationships with members, and ensure members, partners, and allies are aware of our bills. Provide internal leadership for the CSSJ program in Ohio, internally and externally, to build a presence with media, legislators, and all stakeholders. Manage all contracts and subgrants related to CSSJ work in Ohio. Develop, manage and attend all events related to CSSJ work in Ohio Work with the policy teams to garner support for bills (letters and otherwise), and map out a plan for critical legislative visits for our members (in-district/in the state capitol). Collaborate with the Ohio State Director, Policy Department, and in-state staff to develop and implement a legislative strategy, garner ongoing support and monitor progress for bills Garner support for CSSJ work within the Ohio landscape; manage relationships with key stakeholders and allies in the state. Meet and maintain relationships with legislators about the CSSJ program, including stakeholders representing labor, education, and grassroots organizations Manage email, social media, and text messaging communications to all statewide members Work with Digital staff and relevant staff to support the execution of the digital plan for CSSJ and secure supporters Work with Membership Engagement staff to build the CSSJ chapter and member base and identify and cultivate new leaders within the CSSJ movement; guide internal staff on membership, policy, and training needs in Ohio.
