      Built a full service landscaping and lawn care business that generated over $300k in revenue and served roughly 200 clients. I oversaw every aspect of the business - from its strategic plan, to its personnel development, client care, and financials. I sold the book of business at the end of the 2022 season to a new business owner who worked for Helping Hands Landscaping previously, ensuring our clients the same level of care moving forward. Why did HHL grow as quickly as it did? The answer is simple - “We don’t have clients, we have neighbors”; and all of our clients experienced it. What set HHL apart from other companies in our portion of the marketplace was our ability to embody true neighborly care via dealing in the currency of trust as we worked to deliver “peace” as the product. We told all of our clients that we weren’t at their house to do something they couldn’t. Rather, we were there so that they could put their energy into the other things that matter - primarily the relationships around them. Our client retention rate was nearly 90% - and in a volatile marketplace like the Green Industry, that’s pretty impressive.       I worked directly with and reported to the Senior Leadership team and the Board of Directors to establish weekly gatherings (hosting 1000+ people on average) that achieved the organizations mission, exemplified the values, and catalyzed new goals and objectives. In my tenure I grew the team of volunteers from 25 to 125 and built a staff team to see out the mission and to continue to increase our standard of excellence. I worked closely with our volunteers to build a healthy culture of development. My team provided opportunities for volunteers to gain knowledge, experience and coaching. We also designed, installed, and maintained over $1m worth of production systems while developing a team of volunteers to use these systems on a weekly basis. In my final years I took on the role of rebuilding our High School outreach team. I was brought in to earn the trust of the end user, to build a team aligned with the vision, and to create constructs that enabled us to successfully fulfill that mission. In this role I was accountable to the Senior Leadership team as well as the Board of Directors. In my time we sharpened our end goal and improved the strategy. Show less
