Connect, mesh, align and adjust items and systems to assure proper operation of the complete systems or vehicle. Knowledge of equipment assembly, installation, repair, etc. Making minor mechanical repairs, modifications, replacing components, on a wide variety of engineering, ordnance, motor transport, heavy mobile equipment (e.g. bull dozers, cranes, tractors, and trucks, etc.) and general equipment; assisting in the repair of complicated components on heavy mobile equipment; using basic tools common to the occupation (e.g. wrenches, sockets, torque wrenches, brake tools, and screwdrivers);ensures maintenance items such as tire pressure, bluid levels, etc. are in accordance with manufacturers specifications. Disassembling repairing, and reassembling diesel or gasoline engines and performing preventative maintenance on various types of heavy duty equipment. Repair, overhaul or rebuild a variety of heavy mobile equipment/vehicles such as excavators, front end loaders, backhoes, motor graders, Material Handling Equipment (MHE, forklifts),Ariel work platforms (AWP),dump trucks, tractors, trailer and highway vehicles.
