Along the way I went to about every diesel engine school the Navy offered, as well as AC+R school, instructor school, and all of the required leadership schools. My qualifications include: Certified Diesel Inspector, Engineering officer for diesel, steam, and gas turbine platforms, master diesel mechanic, AC&R certification, maintenance and material manager, chief engineer (diesel), and leadership and management of engineering departments on various ships.
