  Project: Defence and National Rehabilitation Centre (DNRC). Contract: D&B, Value 250m. The project resides in 43,000 sq m of space and is comprised of 26 new buildings as well as the alteration and refurbishment of the Grade II-listed Stanford Hall and associated grounds.Construction techniques utilised were reinforced concrete frame, steel frame construction with SFS and an external brickwork skin with stonework designed for a classical detail.The development consists of various types of specialist accommodation and Complex Trauma units, built to acute hospital medical standards to treat and rehabilitate the most seriously injured. Rehabilitation facilities such as: Neurological Centre, vocational therapy Gymnasium, physiotherapy, hydrotherapy pool and advanced prosthetic workshops.Starting the project as a senior engineer progressing to a Construction manager. Main responsibility to deliever a new building which wrapped around a Grade II-listed Theatre and the demolition of and rebuild of a section of Stanford Hall, retaining the façade.

My position: Section Manager, dealing mainly with external works and services. Project: Northfield retirement village, Stone Road Stafford: value £32m. The project comprised of four individual units and landscaped areas. Units include: Extra Care, Dementia, Community Hub and Health and Wellbeing. My Position: Section Manager incoprating a number of Site Engineer duties. Site based with responsibility for the technical viability of the project, works consists of health and safety management, managing contractors, maintaining quality control procedures quality assurance, checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings, planning aspect of the project via forming programmes to ensuring the development complies with the overall programme completion date.
