My thesis topic examined the role of the rise of printing, 16c-17c Christian schismatism (esp Mary of Scotts v Calvinists), and the creation / translation of new biblical texts, and how those new texts gave rise to the modern book of Revelation. I acquired passing ancient greek and basic archival skills. As to investing: I have been investing my own (small) account since 2008, and have not stopped since.
