Over five years experience navigating Salesforce and supporting customer needs in a fast paced environment. I've created service orders for new services, upgrades/changes to current services, and disconnection of services. Asset management through Microsoft Excel, sorting of active services, contract end dates, and other relevant information was also my responsibility. During this time I was not part of the physical implementation pertaining to the service orders, but I played a critical role in the delivery, disconnection, and implementation of customer services. (this was when I moved from the Cloud Support group, to the Client Service Management group) My role on the Cloud Support team was extremely fast paced and different from my later role. 24/7/365 live environments! We used a monitoring program called ScienceLogic. We offered an optional monitoring package for our customers, their infrastructure, vulnerability, etc. I also was responsible for monitoring Zayo's MPLS rings and entire infrastructure (for our cloud and colocation customers) On most days, I'd answer calls, address tickets for removing a server from an F5 Load Balancer, or add (or remove) a rule on a Palo Alto Firewall, Deploy DNS records (CNAME, A, rdns, etc) Occasionally add some virtual ram in VMware or perform other tweaks of the customer's system.
