Recognized as experts in the housing industry and community design, our professionals regularly speak at conferences on topics such as “Vital Community Living in a Down Economy” and “Repositioning Your Community with Design Vernacular, A Healthy Lifestyle Can be Accomplished by the Provisions of a Structured Environment”. From 2009-2014 THW Design partnered with LeadingAge (formerly AAHSA), and committed our resources to provide Design and Construction Consultation Services for the LeadingAge Idea House. The first exhibit of its kind, the house illustrated all the latest products and trends in the industry and was viewed by more than 7,000 of our peers in the industry each year at the LeadingAge Annual Meetings. In addition, we have presented multiple seminars at LeadingAge conferences on the National and state affiliation level. Since our firm’s inception in 1957, THW has made the commitment to always carefully consider our projects’ environmental conditions and needs when designing. Creating environmentally sensitive and sustainable buildings is at the heart of our work’s passion. THW Design has been a Corporate Member of USGBC since 2005 with 24 of our employees having become LEED Accredited Professionals.
