Developed a very sophisticated decision support system from the ground up for the prepaid calling card industry. System is used both in-house to provide cloud based services for clients and also sold as a standalone product. Uses combination of a web-enabled front-end developed in Java/JSP and Oracle Database Enterprise Edition 11g. Achieved the following: Conducted significant vulnerability research on two open source telecommunications platforms. Handled vulnerability disclosure with vendors on 10 different CVEs, most of which were highly critical. One of these platforms is used daily by an estimated 300M end-users. Performed penetration testing against many separate targets/applications, resulting in successful data breaches. More importantly, the data gathered from this process was used to help the in-house development team understand and patch those security flaws. Identified and patched numerous vulnerabilities in our carrier switching platform and hosted PBX solutions. Assessed, patched and/or mitigated many network and system vulnerabilities across Linux/Solaris/Windows platforms. Installed and maintained 23 separate Oracle 10g and 11g databases in a variety of configurations including RAC, Dataguard and MAA. Manage 100+ separate Linux, Solaris and Windows systems located in company data center and onsite with customers in three different countries. Designed and developed 66 different reports used by customers on a daily basis to manage their business. Designed and developed a profit and loss reporting module that is so comprehensive, it has been considered the best in the industry. Designed and developed complex, highly accurate least cost routing module, allowing customers to minimize costs and maximize profits. Designed and developed a customer service module servicing millions of end-users. Designed, developed and maintained an OLTP system using Java/Oracle 11g which processes 500K+ transactions per day.
