To whom it may concern: I spent a year working with Dusica Carapić at Bianca Resort and Spa in Kolašin, Montenegro. When I first arrived she was an agent at reception desk. She was personable, friendly, happy and always kept a smile. I am sure that cheerful attitude is why she was hired for such a high profile position. She had a great command of the Fidelio computer reservation system and was always willing to help when I had to post charges for groups. She took a personal interest in guests’ satisfaction, knew rooms operating procedures, as well as the food and beverage outlets and was aware of current local events and points of interest in town. Her duties included the typical required for her position, but she would often volunteer her time to assist her co-workers whenever possible. I am sure that her thirst for knowledge, teamwork and positive attitude led to her being promoted to Front Desk Supervisor, a position which she held until my departure from the company. I worked very closely with her boss, the Director of Front Office Operations, and heard only praise with regard to Dusica. I am positive she felt comfortable and relaxed leaving Dusica in charge while working on other projects or during her time off. I do not often stay in contact with all of whom I have worked, but I did with Dusica. I was pleased to learn that she was offered and accepted a position in the reservations department which led to her current position as Sales Manager. Having spent several years in hotel sales and marketing myself, and knowing what is involved with the job, I knew she would be fantastic. Apparently, she has done a fantastic job as she has successfully held that position for over 4 years now. I only hope that her current company knows what a valuable asset they have, and keep her happy. They are fortunate to have her in their employ! Dusica has traveled to several local, regional and international trade shows and I know she keeps up with the current marketing and industry trends. In my humble opinion, any company considering offering her employment, should do so without hesitation. If I were in the position of staffing a hotel, the first call I would make to staff the Sales Department would be to Dusica. I highly recommend her for the position of Sales Manager. Considering her mental aptitude, I could easily see her as Hotel Director in the future if she decides to take that path. If you care to discuss Dusica’s character in further detail, feel free to contact me. Sincerely, Brian Stone
