Duncan created the Department's evidence management service, which delivers expedited document review to litigation teams across the country. He also provided litigation readiness advice and strategies to other government departments, in order to reduce the cost, risk, and disruption of the disclosure process in litigation. His team was responsible for many important projects, including the Department's eService initiative, disclosure project management, courtroom technology, and the development of national standards and best practices. Duncan also played a leadership role in the Management Sector. Appointed Director, information@justice, in 2012, his responsibilities included the management of information services, information policy, business intelligence, and the overall strategic direction of the departmental information transformation initiative.
