Detect traces of handling of incendiary devices and explosives. Upon detection, subject person and items to secondary screening and interviewing. • Screening and reporting of unattended bags and vehicles or any suspicious activity. • Consult with ACSA, SAPS and CCTV personnel on any security matters. FREIGHT FORWARDING AND CARGO CONTRACTS • Screening and clearing outgoing cargo for explosives or narcotic substances. • Report suspicious cargo for further screening via the correct communication channels. • Liaise with clients regarding screening times and volumes. REHABILITATION CENTRES • Search patient’s rooms and communal areas for forbidden narcotic substances. • Deter attempts to introduce narcotics in the psychiatric hospital • Report findings to Akeso personnel for further investigation.
